SYMBIOTICY. Illusion Lingerie & Tattoo Lace: Where art becomes intimate

Bringing my first collection, SYMBIOTICY, to life was an intimate exploration of my love for tattoos and how they interact with the body — how they move, how they become a part of us. I wanted to translate this idea into lingerie, crafting pieces that felt just as personal, as if they were an extension of the skin itself. But beyond aesthetics, I also wanted to address a deeper issue: inclusivity in nude tones. The industry lacked representation in this space, and I was determined to change that.

The Inspiration behind Tattoo Lingerie

Tattoos have always fascinated me — their permanence, their storytelling, their ability to transform the body into art. I wanted my designs to have that same effect, creating lingerie that felt like an organic extension of the wearer. The name SYMBIOTICY reflects this vision. It speaks to the symbiotic relationship between the female form and natural morphosis — how the body and nature evolve together, embracing imperfections as part of their beauty. This collection is an appreciation of those imperfections, using the body as a canvas to bring organic growth patterns to life in a new way.

Our biggest Challenge became our biggest Win

The challenge was to recreate the depth and fluidity of tattoos in lingerie. I experimented with layered French Leavers laces and ultra-sheer mesh, playing with illusion and depth. The result? A collection that feels both delicate and bold, like a mirage shifting with every movement. The mesh melts into the skin, while the lace adds dimension, creating an interplay between seen and unseen—much like ink on the body.

But crafting this vision came with its own challenges. One of the biggest was ensuring the designs worked across different skin tones. The market was severely lacking in diverse nude shades, so I worked on developing tones that could truly complement different complexions, making the illusion effect accessible to more people. Inclusivity wasn’t just an afterthought—it was embedded in the very fabric of SYMBIOTICY.

Beyond the Design

SYMBIOTICY is more than just lingerie; it’s a statement. It symbolizes mindfulness, resourcefulness, and a reconnection with nature. Every piece reflects the idea of embracing what’s organic, unpredictable, and unique—just like nature, just like us.

This collection is deeply personal, a blend of artistry and intention, and I’m so excited to share it with you. I’d love to hear your thoughts.
